How to use the SOP site
Scan a QR code, watch the how-to video, and add your own SOPs.
SafetyNever film while you're running a machine. Use a tripod, have a second person film, or record with the machine stopped.
Steps
- 1. To watch an SOP, open your phone's camera, point it at the QR code on the machine, and tap the link that appears.
- 2. The page shows the how-to video, safety notes and written steps. Tap the video to play it, and turn the phone sideways for full screen.
- 3. No QR code handy? Go to sop.awwnola.com and use the search box or browse by category.
- 4. To add or change an SOP, tap Edit mode at the top of the page and enter the shop PIN. Ask a supervisor if you don't have it.
- 5. Tap + New SOP. Type a title and pick a category.
- 6. Under Video, tap Choose File to record a new video or pick one from your phone. Wait for the upload bar to finish.
- 7. Add any safety notes and the written steps, one step per line, then tap Save SOP.
- 8. The video takes a minute or two to get ready. The page refreshes by itself when it's done.
- 9. To fix or replace something later, open the SOP, tap Edit this SOP, make your changes and save. The QR code never changes.
- 10. To print a QR label, open the SOP, tap Print QR label, and stick it on the machine or work cell.
- 11. When you're done editing on a shared phone, tap Lock.
